I have a new campaign in development called Red Boots of Byzantium. The campaign starts in 1078 AD and focuses on the struggle for the Byzantine Throne. In 1078, there were five claimants to the throne (maybe not all at the same time) who pissed away the resources of the empire fighting each other. The map is something I put together using Pages, vector graphics and some hand drawn pieces. The campaign system will be mostly the same as the one used for The Broken Rays of the Sun with a few adjustments for the setting. Now, I just have to paint more Byzantines...
