A Boy's Oath - Campaigning in the 2nd Punic War

A Boy's Oath is a campaign scenario set in the 2nd Punic War.  The title is based on a story told by Polybioan and Livy's later amendment of the words of the supposed oath taken by a nine year old Hannibal.  Many historians question the validity of the oath but it makes for great drama.  Hence, the name of the new campaign scenario.

I have plenty of Gauls, Spanish and Numidians for the campaign which can be used to flesh out the Cartghagians plus I have the beginning of a Middle Republican Roman army and enough Greeks to make up the Massillan and Syracusan factions.  There are some odds and ends (such as Gallic Chariots to complete a Gallic faction, Ligurian allies, Illyrian allies) that I need to paint to complete the base forces for each faction.

  1. That's a great campaign map! I've been wanting to do a solo Punic Wars campaign but I can't make up my mind on how to do it. I keep making a start on the map and then decide to scrap it and start again!
